These trainings are a part of the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering's investment in youth and those that serve with/alongside our youth. They are not related to the Gathering but are provided as part of the Gathering's commitment to our young people and the adults who share time with them.

Training for Adults

Networking -

Quarterly, those who are serve in Youth and Family Ministry (paid staff, pastors and volunteers - all are welcome) gather at the synod office for networking, sharing and learning together. Join us. Next meeting - August 7th at 10am at the synod office in Salisbury. You can also join via Go To Meeting if you'd like. Just email Tammy.

Webinars -

Pick your own - Email Tammy of a topic you or your youth ministry committee would be interested in and we'll schedule one just for you.

Online Training -

Practice Discipleship Training Project - Online Webinars (8 Sessions) – For ALL who work with Youth (those attending and not attending the Gathering)

ALL are available now for download but are also offered again.

Once each of these sessions are "live" we will link to them. IF you want to participate in the webinar "live," then you must register ahead of time. Spots are limited so register NOW. Each time is set for 3-4:30 pm Eastern time. The times listed on the registration page are Central. Just know that you will be able to watch them live or download them for later use with your group. I'd recommend downloading them all and using them for your council, youth committee, senior group, etc. Enjoy!

ELCA Youth Ministry Network Opportunities

The ELCA Youth Ministry Network - Joining the Network lends support to you in your ministry and gives you opportunities to support others in their ministry. Supporting one another also supports the greater vision and lends a louder voice fora Youth and Family Ministries throughout the ELCA.
